Terms of Service

Effective date: July 10, 2026

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the Rodeo Finder website and progressive web app (the “Service”), operated under the name Rodeo Finder. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live. If applicable law requires a parent or guardian to approve your use, you must have that approval. The Service is general-audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Service scope

Rodeo Finder is an event-discovery and planning service. It may provide public event listings, saved events, follows, saved searches, reminder preferences, optional alerts, maps, calendar downloads, source links, event submissions, and correction reports. Rodeo Finder is not an event producer, ticket seller, venue, sanctioning body, travel provider, weather service, or emergency service unless a listing expressly says otherwise.

Accounts and security

Account access may use Supabase email and password authentication or Google sign-in. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law. Signing out ends the current app session and clears the current-user browser record, but it does not delete the account or all associated records. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Verify event details before relying on them

Event facts can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and events can change without notice. Before buying a ticket, entering, participating, or traveling, verify the schedule, cancellation status, venue, entry and eligibility rules, fees, ticket availability, weather, road and travel conditions, livestock or sport requirements, accessibility, and safety information with the linked source and event operator. Maps, routes, distances, alerts, and listings are planning aids, not guaranteed notices or emergency, weather, travel, medical, or safety advice.

Saved features and optional alerts

Saves, follows, searches, and reminder or alert preferences help organize planning, but they do not replace checking the event source. Alerts and reminders may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or unavailable. Automatic matching is not part of the normal current runtime, and email delivery is only available when configured. Optional alert preferences are separate from essential authentication or account-security messages.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Service unlawfully, deceptively, or to infringe another person’s rights;
  • impersonate another person or submit malicious, misleading, or knowingly false information;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with the Service or its security controls;
  • use automated access or scraping in a way that violates law, third-party rights, or access limits; or
  • submit confidential information or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Submissions, reports, and moderation

You retain ownership of content you submit and must have authority to provide it. You grant Rodeo Finder a non-exclusive license limited to hosting, reviewing, verifying, formatting or normalizing, publishing, distributing, and retaining the provenance needed to operate and improve the Service. This license lasts only as needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping. Do not submit material that infringes rights or includes confidential or unnecessary sensitive information.

Event submissions require an account; correction reports may be anonymous. Rodeo Finder may contact you about verification, moderate or remove material, and decline to publish it. There is no obligation to review, publish, preserve, or act on a submission. Only approved event facts may later appear publicly; submitter contact details and internal review material are not intended for public display.

Public sources, attribution, and no endorsement

Listings may contain factual event and venue information normalized from operator-supplied copies of public source pages or approved submissions. Rodeo Finder aims to link and attribute the identified source, but does not promise authorization, endorsement, affiliation, comprehensive coverage, or perfect accuracy. Source names, logos, prose, photographs, and other protected material remain the property of their respective rights holders. A public source is not necessarily licensed for unrestricted reuse.

Third-party services, links, maps, and directions

The Service relies on or links to third parties such as Supabase, Vercel, Google sign-in, OpenStreetMap, Google Maps directions, geocoding providers, email delivery, ticketing sites, official sources, and your chosen calendar app. Their services, content, availability, transactions, terms, and privacy practices are outside Rodeo Finder’s control. A link or map reference does not imply endorsement. Verify routes and conditions independently before travel.

Intellectual property, corrections, and takedowns

Rodeo Finder’s software, design, branding, and original presentation are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer those rights or third-party rights to you. To report an inaccurate listing, ownership concern, attribution issue, or rights complaint, use the contact address below and include the affected URL and enough detail to investigate. This contact route is not a representation that Rodeo Finder has adopted or qualifies for any particular statutory notice-and-takedown safe harbor.

PWA and cached content

The progressive web app caches a limited app shell and navigation resources. It does not make your saved events or event detail pages reliably available offline. Cached pages or assets may be stale, and locally stored identifiers or preferences are not offline copies of event content. Reconnect and check the source before relying on event information.

Availability, suspension, and termination

Rodeo Finder may change, pause, or discontinue features and may restrict or suspend access to protect the Service, users, or third-party rights; respond to law; address abuse; or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Account closure and data deletion are not currently self-service and must be requested through the contact below. Some records may be preserved as described in the Privacy Policy and as permitted or required by law.

Consumer and statutory rights

These Terms do not exclude remedies or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your non-waivable consumer and statutory rights remain intact. Rodeo Finder has not added an arbitration requirement, class-action waiver, indemnity, governing-law or forum clause, liability cap, or broad warranty exclusion to these Terms; those subjects require operator and counsel review.

Changes to these Terms

Rodeo Finder may update these Terms prospectively as the Service or legal requirements change. The page will show the new date, and material changes will be announced through a prominent in-service notice and/or an account email when appropriate. Where law requires consent, Rodeo Finder will seek it before beginning the changed processing or use; editing this page does not retroactively authorize a materially incompatible use.
